This breakfast is just the beginning of something much bigger. From April 6th to June 8th, we’re running our Spring Scholarship Campaign. Thanks to a $7,500 challenge grant from Alpine Bank, we have the opportunity to double the impact and raise $15,000! Every dollar you contribute helps provide essential scholarships that make our programs accessible to more families.
Why It Matters
School Year - Our programs, including after-school care, school break programs, and summer camps, are offered on a sliding fee scale. This allows students qualifying for free or reduced lunch to access our programs for as little as $1 per day.
School Year - With over 45% of local after school students on free and reduced lunch, we distribute more than $115,000 in scholarships annually to make sure no child is left behind.
Summer Camp - All local students benefit from a subsidized scholarship rate of $65 per day (instead of the true cost of $115 per day). This adds up to $95,000 in subsidies for Summit students, plus an additional $11,000 in direct scholarships for children who need it most.
Real Impact, Real Stories
Don’t just take our word for it—here’s what local families have to say:

“[Mountain Top Explorium] fills in the gaps in childcare for our single-parent household in a fun and educational manner.”
“I wouldn’t be able to work without these programs. I especially like that it’s a full-day program, which provides me with the flexibility I need.”
